A woman who was gambling in a New Orleans Casino is seeking damages stating a slot machine allegedly broke and caused her injuries.
Ladasha Felix is the woman who is alleging that a slot machine broke which caused her injuries and has filed a lawsuit on April 11th, 2017 against Jazz Casino Co. LLC, DBA as Harrah’s New Orleans; Caesars Entertainment Corp.; and Employee A. of Jazz Casino Co. LLC and/or Caesars Entertainment Corp. in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence.
The Back Story
According to the complaint that was filed by Ladasha Felix, the plaintiff was on property that the defendant’s owned on the date of May 13th, 2016. The filed Lawsuit claims that the plaintiff was injured when a piece of metal that was from one of the slot machines fell from the machine and onto the plaintiff. The hands, legs, wrist, as well as the lower body of the plaintiff, was injured as a serious result of the metal falling from the machine. Despite the fact that Ladasha Felix, the plaintiff was seeking communications with the property owner the defendant, the defendant has ultimately failed to provide any reparation to Ladasha Felix, the plaintiff or any communication either.
The defendant has been accused of being negligent through the fact of falling to warn Ladasha Felix, the plaintiff of any danger, also failing to repair the machine properly within a timely manner, as well as for the overall negligence.
Ladasha Felix, the plaintiff is seeking all damages that are reasonable, the court cost, any and all attorney fees as well as all appropriate relief.
