Play I, Zombie

The slot does its best to immerse gamblers in the world it has created. Symbols include playing card icons that seem to have been somewhat zombified for extra effect. Higher paying symbols include golden bells, shambling zombies, a fierce female ninja and her wise, old mentor. The Wild icon is a special Chinese type of zombie called a Jiangshi, while the Scatter is a haunted mirror.

How to Play

I, Zombie is played on a 5-reel, 3-row board with 25 flexible paylines. That means players can turn some of them on or off to adjust their total bet. The new layout is also a definitive improvement compared to RTG releases of old!

The Spin button sits in the bottom right corner of the reels, giving off a small glow to grab your attention. On the left side of the screen, you can choose to increase or decrease your line bet and the number of active paylines. This gives you lots of options to tweak your wager to your liking. At the minimum, you will have to set down $0.01, while the maximum is a solid $125 per spin.

When two, three or more symbols are collected on the playing field in adjacent positions, they grant a win. Wins are only paid if the icons follow one of the active paylines starting from the leftmost reel.

Strategy & Tips

When the Wild or Scatter symbol lands on the reels, it has a chance to create two Wilds. These Wilds will occupy the space above and beneath the icon that created them.

Collect three or more Scatters to start the free spins special feature. Any extra Scatters or Wilds present when the bonus starts grants two more  free spins. All Wilds and Scatters are now guaranteed to create more Wilds. If four or five Scatters trigger the special feature, wins are doubled or tripled, respectively.

Mobile Version

There aren’t any major differences between the desktop and mobile versions of I, Zombie. The only one we could notice is that the mobile game had a different layout. Given the need for touchscreen compatibility, that was not surprising.
