Pragmatic Play Partners with Big Time Gaming for Megaways Game Upgrade

Pragmatic Play Unveils Great Rhino Megaways.

Pragmatic Play has revealed its collaboration with another slot developer, Big Time Gaming.

The latter is giving Pragmatic the right to use its popular trademark, Megaways in a new release.

The new game is a sequel to the high-paying title, Great Rhino.

Reimagining the Players’ Favorite

Great Rhino was initially launched in May 2018 and has consistently remained a top performer in Pragmatic’s portfolio. 

This game, inspired by the African savannah, is a 3×5 reel video slot, with 20 pay lines.  

However, the upcoming release is different from the original game. Actually, it features 6 reels and up to 200,704 ways to win.

Moreover, the game uses popular tumbling reels mechanics. This will guarantee loads of consecutive winnings among other generous benefits.

“Great Rhino is one of our most appreciated video slots,” said Melissa Summerfield, Pragmatic’s chief commercial officer.

That’s one of the reasons the developer had decided to revamp it with Megaways. According to Summerfield, this is “a step towards gaining more ground in the current video slot market.”

Also, she believes that rethinking one of their top-performing games will “push it forward to a wider audience.” 

“We’re eager to see how the video slot evolves after launching the sequel.”

A Valuable Addition 

Nik Robinson, CEO of Big Time Gaming is also really excited about the launch of Great Rhino Megaways.

“It brings attitude and excitement and we love how the mechanic has been used to create a standout slot. I’m very confident this will be a huge success and players are going to love it.”

Great Rhino Megaways will be joining Pragmatic Play’s already wide video slot portfolio.  There are more than 100 HTML5 games, and they launch four new ones every month.
