This is one of a few jester themed classic 3 reel slots that Microgaming has produced. To be frank and perfectly honest, there is precious little in this slot that makes it any different from other similar themed or similar structured slots really. The slot contains the usual symbols and it has no special features. What you are getting when you sit down to play Jester’s Jackpot is a basic three reel experience, although the multi-pay table is worth looking into.
Jester’s Jackpot offers a very primitive 3 reel, single payline format of classic slot gameplay. This is no bad thing, as this is what you would expect from a slot like this. Wagers are entirely dependent on how many coins you stake, with up to 3 per spin possible. Players can choose from values of $0.25 up to $5 for their coins, giving the classic slot minimum and maximum wagers of $0.25 and $15 per spin, respectively.
With icons like these, there really isn’t a whole lot happening in this classic slot to make it stand out from other titles. There are actually only four icons in total, and 2 of those are of the often repeated cherries and bar icons. The two symbols you aren’t used to seeing are more thematic and include the Jester’s Bar icon and the jester’s hat.
This is a plain, run-of-the-mill classic, 3 reeled slot machine game. As such, there are no special features of any kind in this slot. Buttons open to the player include the ability to bet one coin or bet max in a single click, but that is all. The slot does have 3 unique and separate pay tables though, and those we’ll take a look at next.
The pay tables in this slot are divided up into 3, namely because you can wager 1, 2 or 3 coins per spin. Generally speaking, players will win a set amount for a successful one coin wager, whilst they will win double that amount on a 2 coin wager, and triple that amount for a successful 3 coin wager.
Given the lack of symbols, there are only a handful of combinations possible in this slot. Winning combinations include any single cherry, any 2 cherries, any 3 bars, and 3 single bar combinations. Players can also win with 3 cherries, 3 Jester’s Bar icons and the three jackpot icons.
If you want to win the Jester’s Jackpot jackpot (yes, that does sound funny, doesn’t it?), you will need to line up three of the jester’s hat icons on the single payline that the game has to offer. When you do this, you will win one of three potential jackpots, depending on how many coins you have staked.
Players, who line up the 3 top paying symbols with a single coin staked, will win a total of 800 coins. A 2 coin stake and the jackpot icons will see you win 1,600 coins, and finally, make a 3 coin stake and the jackpot will pay out the top prize of 2,400 coins.
We must be honest here. Jester’s Jackpot isn’t really very good at all. There are lots of jester themed slots out there on the market that are cheaper, and offer a better jackpot than the $12,000 one at stake here. Although the lack of symbols means you’ve got a better chance of winning with this slot than others, the problem comes from the repetitiveness. The slot is just too similar to other classic slots and simply doesn’t have enough excitement to keep anybody hooked longer than 5 to 10 minutes.
