The Del Lago Casino Reports $36M Spent During the First 6 Days

More than a total of thirty six million dollars was spent at the Del Lago Casino and Resort from patrons playing at the 2,001 slot machines that are on the floor as well as the 77 gaming tables during the very first 6 days of their operation, reported the state Gaming Commission.

Between the dates of January 31st, 2017 to February 5th, 2017 their patrons have spent a total of $32,921,546.00 at this Seneca County Casino playing at the 2,001 slot machines, which in fact had a reported daily payout of $252.00.

Between these same dates the Del Lago reported that $3,736,444.00 was spent while patrons were gaming at the 77 tables within the casino.  The casino also has a total of 12 poker tables, figures for these tables were not provided.

The gross revenue for this time period was $3,317,758.00 where most of this revenue actually came from the slot machines which was at a total of $3,020,242.00.  The gaming tables which does include those poker tables has a gross revenue of $297,515.00.

This 440 million dollar casino had its soft launch on January 31st 2017 and open its doors to the public on February 1st 2017.  The executive vice president of the Del Lago stated that the first week of operation was a whirlwind.

Out of this total the Del Lago will pay a total of a 37 percent rate on the revenue that was obtained from slot machine play, while paying only a 10 percent rate on the revenue that was obtained through the gaming tables.  A portion of what is collected by the state will be divided among Seneca as well as other counties that are within the gaming region.
