Marina Medvedeva Navarro was the woman who pushed that button on a slot machine that was in a casino located in Southern Florida and hit it big with a 100 thousand dollar jackpot. Now, Marina is stating that she was the one who actually put the money into the machine, that is was not her friend who is claiming that she stole his winnings.
Marina’s story was headlined in the Miami Herold this past week after her friend Jan Flato, claimed that she stole his jackpot. She is now disputing a lot of what Jan has claimed to have happen on the night of January 31st, while they were at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino and Hotel.
Flato told his side of the story this past week, during this time Navarro declined to comment on it other than to say that winning a jackpot was personal. But, after she actually saw what Flato was saying about what happened that night she decided she wanted to tell her side of the story.
Flato stated in his account of the night that he was the one who was putting money into the slot machine that was being played and that Navarro only pushed the button. After personnel of the casino looked at the video before they paid any money out, they agreed that the money would go to Navarro. Experts on gambling state that the standing protocol at casinos all over the country is that the actual wager is placed by the person who pulls the handle or pushes the button.
Navarro is now coming forward and stating that she was actually playing with her own money, and that there was never a doubt that the money that was won was in fact her money.
